Fare rete. E perchè no? Almeno proviamoci!

From his tales of desperate mothers, children who die of hunger and thirst, villages reduced in complete misery I was reminded of the idea of Google these days to fly over Africa with airships to provide connectivity to the African people. And I thought: this is really what they need to African? Have among their priority the social connectivity? Surely not. Certainly, the developing countries need before others beni.Hanno need bread. They need water. Of medicines. But the network still think can take its course to spread itself. And I still think that without the network many countries of Africa would not have known their spring against the regimes. They could not let the whole world know of their condition and of their oppression. Here then also shared a photo can be of vital importance to ask for help, to give hope and to give strength. The Arab Spring has been fueled through Facebook pages such as "We are all Khaled Said" , dedicated to a young 28-year old killed by two policemen who wanted to search him, thanks to numerous tweets on Twitter with the hashtag # 25jan labeled with, the first day of the riots in Egypt, e grazie to Youtube, site on which they were loaded video of actual crimes committed by the authorities to suppress protests, as executions of rebels, shootings of unarmed civilians and whatnot, e dei momenti in cui le piazze erano gremite di manifestanti.

The phenomenon began to take hold in 1997 in America; the 18 July 1997, was chosen as the symbolic date of birth of the blog, referring to the development, by the U.S. Dave Winer, the software that allows the publication (we speak of proto-blog).
The first blog was actually published 23 December of the same year, grazie a Jorn Barger, an American businessman hunting enthusiast, who decided to open their own personal page RobotWisdom to share the results of his research on the web about his hobby; coined the word weblog to describe the list of links on the website. In the spring of 1999 invece Peter Merholz propose l’abbreviazione blog sul suo sito Peterme.com.
At this stage it was used the term weblog or blog with which we referred only to lists of links, or better feedback to lists of links (a type of very useful information for users before the spread of search engines); oggi siti di questo tipo sono praticamente quasi tutti inattivi.
In 2001 has become fashionable in Italy, with the birth of the first free blog dedicated to the management of; among the most used: Blogger, wordpress.com, some blog, The Telescope, Io Bloggo, Blogdrops, Noiblogger, Free, LiveJournal, Windows Live Spaces, MySpace, Skyrock.
Between 2002 and the 2007 blogs enjoy a period of great fortune communicative, even overvalued because they were considered a highly revolutionary from the point of view of communication and social relationships: Giuseppe Granieri addirittura parla di Generation blog (generation blog) thus entitling his book. In 2004 Italy is published in the book The night of the bloggers - the first anthology of new narrators of the network (Lipperini) però è un caso isolato in quanto i post di blog trovano spazio quasi esclusivamente sul web e non vengono riproposti su prodotti cartacei.
Between 2009 and the 2010 however you feel or are afraid of a crisis blog, mainly because of the immense success of the new social network; although it is believed that, especially as regards the thematic blogs, social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter are not suitable to meet the need of the reader of blogs as certain types of posts, characterized by a particular length, require a particular format of reading. The reason why blogs have become so popular is to be found in most factors: by the performance of his public life to the creation of complex texts and specific; alla base della diffusione c’è ad ogni modo la caratteristica della condivisione.
To the 16 February 2011 there are more than 156 million public blogs in existence.(da wikipedia)
